A crypto token is like a digital coin you create and own entirely. It lives on a public blockchain - think of that as a shared public database that no single person controls. You do not need to understand how the blockchain works to create a token on Launchify, any more than you need to understand how the internet works to send an email. Just fill in the form.
No, not at all. There is zero coding involved. Launchify writes and deploys the smart contract for you. You just fill in a form with your token name, symbol, and supply - the same way you would fill in any online form. The whole process takes about 2 minutes.
For Solana you need Phantom (phantom.app) - it is free, takes 2 minutes to set up, and works in your browser or on mobile. For Ethereum or BNB Chain you need MetaMask (metamask.io) - also free. Once your wallet is set up, you will need a small amount of crypto to cover the fees (SOL, ETH, or BNB depending on which chain you pick).
Solana tokens start from 0.1 SOL. Ethereum tokens start from 0.005 ETH plus a small Ethereum network fee (gas). BNB Chain tokens start from 0.03 BNB. Optional extras like revoking authorities or adding social links cost a little more. See the pricing page for a full breakdown.
Your token will exist on the blockchain immediately and anyone can receive it if you send it to them. For people to buy and sell it freely, you need to add liquidity - that means pairing your token with some SOL/ETH/BNB on a decentralised exchange like Raydium or Uniswap. Once that is done, your token gets a price and shows up on tracking sites like Dexscreener.
Your symbol is the short ticker for your token - like BTC for Bitcoin or ETH for Ethereum. It is usually 3 to 6 capital letters. Pick something memorable and related to your token name. For example, if your token is called "Moon Cat" your symbol might be MCAT or MNCT. There are no rules - just choose something you like.
Yes. On Solana, open the Phantom app, tap the browser tab at the bottom, and navigate to uselaunchify.com. On Ethereum or BNB Chain, use the MetaMask in-app browser. The site is fully mobile-friendly and works the same way as on desktop.
Review everything carefully on the form before you pay - your token name, symbol, and supply are permanent once deployed. The form shows you a summary before you approve the wallet transaction. You cannot change these details after launch, so take your time to double-check them first.
